On Saturday, September 20, I attended the WKA, Wisconsin Kindergarten conference in Stevens POint, WI. Dr. Jean was the key note speaker. Dr. Jean was going to speak and we were going to have a Make and Take. When we got there, though, we heard that Dr. Jean had broken her arm and had to have surgery. We really missed her. However, a past presenter, Julie Torkelson, stepped up to the plate. She had been there two years ago. I have purchased some of her materials a few years ago but had not had the opportunity to see her. Well this was my chance. I took 3 floppy disks full of pictures. Although we were saddened by Dr. Jean's injury, I for one, learned a great deal from Julie. Please visit Julie's website at Katie and Co. Thanks so much for sharing your time and talent with us. You deserve to "Kiss Your Brain!"
