On Saturday, September 20, I attended the WKA, Wisconsin Kindergarten
conference in Stevens POint, WI. Dr. Jean was the key note speaker.
Dr. Jean was going to speak and we were going to have a Make and Take.
When we got there, though, we heard that Dr. Jean had broken her
arm and had to have surgery. We really missed her. However, a past
presenter, Julie Torkelson, stepped up to the plate. She had been there
two years ago. I have purchased some of her materials a few years
ago but had not had the opportunity to see her. Well this was my chance. I took 3 floppy disks
full of pictures. Although we were saddened by Dr. Jean's injury, I for one, learned a great
