This page was created with many laborous hours. It is really a
labor of love, please understand that I have created these pages
for use in your classroom. Please do not copy and paste anything to
another website. Thanks for understanding.I would love to see or hear
about anything that you used in your room. :)
Pictures will be added either when I find the photos or when I do the activity again!
Please feel free to email and send me photos of how you use rubber stamps in your classroom.

Rubber Stamping in the classroom

I use rubber stamps in my classroom all of the time.
Yes I have the “Teacher” ones good job, fantastic, ect for stamping on papers,
but I also let my students join in my rubber stamping obsession!
I like to scrapbook and make cards using stamps.

These ideas are not in any particular order.

I use hundreds of stamps in my room. I have a tool drawer that houses my stamps.
I have two drawers for each letter.
Look here: Aug. 28th
One drawer has different 'fonts' of that letter and the other drawer has pictures of that letter.
So in the F drawers, there are letter F stamps and then there are a ton of stamps -
like frogs, fish, ect. I choose 2-3 letters and give my students a sheet
with three boxes. The sheet contains one box for them to stamp the letter stamp, another
box to stamp the pictures and then a final box forthem to write the letter (or words).

For structured stamping activity, I take the drawers out of the unit and set them out for the
students along with the recording sheets.

For my ocean and rain forest units I also have pre-programmed sheets.
That says ‘how does the creature move’, how many legs.
Then I also give them a sheet for them to practice patterns.
Look at the rain forest page on the centers section for photos of each
sheet. The links are found at the bottom.

Another center that I use stamps for is called Cube roll. I use it two different ways.
One way, is to stamp different sides of a
wooden cube with a certain theme. I got the idea first and used my Quick Snips book
from Carson Dellosa.
Look here for other ideas: Center Ideas

I cut out 6 different icons and glued them to a cube. I use stamps now that I keep getting new ones!
There are two options to do this.
One way is to just mark each side of the cube.
Another way is to actually have the stamp available for the children to stamp the stamp each
time they roll that particular one.

Another way to use stamps is for counting by 2’s and 5’s. I have one stamp that has two feet together.
Another stamp that I have is of hands. Well actually I have single feet and single hands from
Stampin’ Up!. They are from the set I’m Here.

I also use them for Money Roll. I used the stamp to stamp a coin on a side. Then at the center,
the child rolls the cube and stamps the coin a
certain amount of times and then totals it up. Then begins over again.

On the 100th day of school, I give my students a 11x17 paper divided up into 10 sections and
the students stamp each stamp ten times. This will equal 100.

Students can use letter stamps to stamp Star Words (high frequency words)

As with any center, you need to send your students to Center School.
Teach them how to use them and how to clean them.
Back in the day when I first started using stamps, any old stamp, I would teach my
children to use baby wipes.
I placed a box for them to use at the center and showed them how to clean them.
Now, I use Stampin’ Up!’s Stampin Scrub and their Mist for cleaning stamps.
It works much better for getting in the little areas.

Stampin' Up! Please search there for a demonstrator in your area
and not just directly to the company.
I no longer sell Stampin’ Up! products, so I get no compensation from them.
Please support your local demo’s.
