Here is an idea on how to use highlighter tape.I am not sure where I got the picture though,
I downloaded it to my computer to my "Things To Make" folder.






You can also use it in your big books. Although I have never had a problem
with it sticking, another teacher did have that problem.








This is a picture of my "Star Words" box. I write my 5 words for the week
on the stars, which are really glow in the dark decorations, and they go
into the star box. The top is covered with little pieces of the
book cover/highlighting tape. So right before we read our big book we
review our "Star Words" so they are fresh in our minds and each time we
find a "Star Word" we can cover it. They little pieces don't get lost,
because they have a place to be. This is good for me.
