Classbooks

Here she uses various textures for the letters of the alphabet.

This is a corrugated bag with a card attached with a brad. She has stapled the book at the top and added paper on the inside.

Here are some classbooks that she made. She takes songs and has the kids illustrate the words. In the upper right hand side, she uses old balloons. What a great idea. I have been collecting them for years, now I know what to use them for! Thanks!

(Going clockwise)Who Ate the Cookie Jar is another great song. Another picture of the balloon book. The Farmer and the Dell book was made in the accordion style using chart paper. The Bag Book used paper bags.

Some more books. She even had her kids create a book to go along with the song, "Home on the Range."

The Read and Move book is made from a folder. This rhythm and read book helps the children "read" The Hello Book has all of the kids pictures on the page. The top of the page says Hello Jennifer. Then on the bottom, you glue the picture.

The top book is the block book. The bottom one is a sounds book. This book she calls Alphardy. This is where are act out verbs as you make the sounds.

This book goes along with the good bye chant.

Here she attached several pencil cases together and programmed them with math facts. Some other ideas that I can think of include word families and colors. Let me know if you can think of anymore!

Here is the outside of the Earth book.

Here is the inside. Each page represents different parts of the earth. Such as green trees, yellow sun, blue water, brown mountains, and the last page can contain something that the child wants to talk about the earth.

Here is a book that she made from environmental print. She used such things as cereal boxes. I can do this next week.

This book goes to the song by the Baja Men, "Who Let the Dogs Out."
